Motor Vehicle Accidents
A motor vehicle accident (MVA) can leave a lasting impact on your physical and emotional wellbeing. At Cornerstone Physiotherapy, we understand the unique challenges faced by those recovering from an MVA.
Whether you’re dealing with whiplash, back pain, soft tissue injuries, or any other musculoskeletal issues following an accident, our team of physiotherapists are available to guide you through your rehabilitation.
Cornerstone Physiotherapy charges no gap fees for ICWA claims. Please remember to bring in a GP referral and ICWA claim number to your first appointment.
CDM/EPC Appointments

An Enhanced Primary Care Plan (EPC) is a government-incentivised initiative that allows some individuals to access up to five allied health appointments (including physiotherapy) per calendar year.
Please bring in your GP referral (CDM/EPC referral) to your first appointment.
Dry Needling
Dry needling is a specialised technique used by physiotherapists to effectively treat musculoskeletal pain and dysfunction. It can be used to address back and neck pain, muscular stiffness, headaches, jaw pain, and a variety of other conditions.
At Cornerstone Physiotherapy, our physiotherapists use sterile, thin, single-use needles. The use of thinner needles allows for minimal pain and discomfort, with many patients reporting no pain at all!
Workers' Compensation
When an employee is injured on the job, workers’ compensation insurance typically covers the cost of all reasonable medical treatment and rehabilitation services.
At Cornerstone Physiotherapy, we understand the complex nature of the workers’ compensation system and we’re here to help you navigate through all aspects of your rehabilitation.
Cornerstone Physiotherapy charges no gap fees for workers’ compensation appointments. Please bring in your written proof from your insurance company that states they have accepted liability.
Post-Surgery Rehabilitation
Post-surgical rehabilitation plays a critical role in your short-term and long-term outcomes. At Cornerstone Physiotherapy, we are able to assist you after a joint replacement, ligament repair (including but not limited to ACL repairs), tendon repair (including but not limited to rotator cuff repairs), surgical fixation of fractures, and other musculoskeletal surgeries.
Our team of physiotherapists use a wide variety of interventions to assist your recovery by preventing complications, promoting healing, and restoring function. End-stages of your rehabilitation will focus on preventing re-injury.
